350 gm jaggery
3 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup virgin coconut oil
Pink Himalayan Salt as needed
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup peanuts
1 tbsp cinnamon powder
3/4 cup dark chocolate
I used organic jaggery which is locally sourced, known as Marayoor Sharkara (jaggery). You can use any variety of jaggery. Some jaggery contains salt hence add salt accordingly.
I used 99% dark chocolate which does not have any added sugar or transfat, you can use any brand of your choice; 60% above is ideal.
You can use any nut of your choice.
I prefer to use virgin coconut oil especially when I am making a vegan recipe, you can use any unrefined oil of your choice.
If on gluten free diet use gluten free oats.
I prefer to use rolled oats in my recipes as they are less refined.
